DR SETTLE'S DREAM (1) resumes from a lay-off of four months and is having his first outing under new trainer Jeremiah C Englehart. Finished fifth at Aqueduct (Dirt) over 6½f at the opening run last time in work. Leading contender. POP COYER (3) turned in a sound effort last time but found one better at this track (Dirt) over 5½f, beaten 1.5 lengths. That run should have him rock-hard fit now. Yet to miss the top three here in nine starts. Among the leading chances. EIRIK RIDGE (6) had a bit on its rivals last time out, scoring an impressive 2 lengths maiden win over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Jacqueline A Davis was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Harder this time but still one to consider. GOLD TEMPLAR (5) was too good for a maiden field last start over 6f at this track (Dirt), scoring by 6 lengths. Steven Fret was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Harder task ahead this time but can measure up.
