POMPOUS PRINCE (5) recorded another success last time over 5½f at this track (Dirt) making it two straight wins this campaign. Far too good last start and expected to be in the finish again. N Y ANTHEM (2) has strung together a couple of wins at this circuit, the latest on June 4 over 6f when he scored by 4 lengths. Winning rider J R Jr Davila retains the mount. Stepping up a level this time but on current form he is one of the chief contenders. ROYAL SUSPECT (1) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 4.5 lengths into fourth over 5½f at this track. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
