COASTAL PATH (6) was prominent from the outset when second over 6f at Fairview All Weather last time out. Form here at this trip is sound. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Best form puts him right in this. CHAMPONELLE (7) doesn't win very often but ran a nice race last time out over 6f at this track, finishing second and beaten a nose. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. CHARLIE MALONE (8) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Fairview All Weather, beaten 4.5 lengths. Has a fair record when second up, including two top-three finishes. Chase Maujean gets the best out of this five-year-old gelding. Strips fitter and can find the winners' list. SMASHING (16) was far from disgraced to finish a nose away in second last start over 6f at this track after a win the run prior. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
