Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. CHARLIE MALONE (8) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Fairview All Weather, beaten 4.5 lengths. Has a fair record when second up, including two top-three finishes. Chase Maujean gets the best out of this five-year-old gelding. Strips fitter and can find the winners' list. SMASHING (16) was far from disgraced to finish a nose away in second last start over 6f at this track after a win the run prior. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
