BLACKBERRY MALT (5) didn't do a bad job when second last start over 1m2f at this track, beaten 0.8 lengths. That followed a win at Greyville the start prior. Beautifully placed and is sure to bounce back to form. FIREALLEY (2) had been threatening before breaking through for a deserved win last time over 1m2f at this track, scoring by 0.8 lengths. Should be prominent from the outset. One of the main contenders. EAST COAST (7) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 1m1f at Turffontein Standside, beaten 18 lengths into ninth. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
