CICADIDAE (7) has progressed nicely in her last couple of runs. Finished third at Fairview two starts back then scored by 2.25 lengths as favourite last time out over 1m1 1/2f at this track. Richard Fourie scored on her last time and retains the mount. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she deserves plenty of thought. AMAZING COLOURS (6) is back at the races for the first time since September 27. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 1m2f at Fairview. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with two minor placings. Looks a winning chance. LADY SILVANO (5) finished eighth when resuming at this track two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. MEDLERS TART (1) was never in contention when resuming last start over 1m3f at this track, finishing third and beaten 8 lengths. Should be prominent from the outset. Deserves respect on best figures.
