UNCOMPROMISED (2) did a great job to score by a nose over this course and distance when resuming from a lay-off last time out. Worth noting Natasha Faithfull goes aboard. Likely to be there at the finish again. WHEATSTACK THIEF (8) was a real eye-catcher last start, coming from the tail over 6f at this track to finish 0.7 lengths from the winner in second. Reaching peak fitness so he is a leading contender again. I AM SPARTACUS (1) continued the good recent form when he finished just a nose away in second last time out over 7f at this track. Hasn't broken through over this course and distance but has managed three minor placings. Has claims on his best efforts. BIRD'S THE WORD (3) last appeared a week ago over 6f at this track when he finished sixth. This is his first run for the Josh Brown stable.
