SALLAAL (3) came from an uncompromising position to finish an eye-catching runner-up over course and distance 38 days ago. The Roger Varian-trained four-year-old looks progressive and ought to come on plenty for that seasonal return. He's up 5lb and tasked with a trixky draw but he still has loads of upside. RESPOND (4) was backed as though defeat was out of the equation at Chester (1m2 1/2f) last time and he duly delivered in style. Andrew Balding's gelding also brings a progressive profile and must be respected alongside TYCOON (13) who was a good third off this rating at Newmarket (Rowley) last time. HAND OF GOD (6) needs to be included.
