HOT TORQUE INVEGAS (2) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Townsville, finishing fourth and only 2. 25 lengths from the winner at the end of 5f after being in the firing line on the corner. Has the talent to build on that encouraging effort last start. MAKING HISTORY (8) finished out of the money two starts back then he was never in contention and was beaten 4. 5 lengths when sixth over 6f at Rockhampton two-and-a-half weeks ago. Will enjoy a drop in class so he will be hard to beat. GIGI FILLE (9) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when eighth over 7f at Clermont. Best figures measure up nicely. Can play a significant role.
