ELLIBABY (7) was heavily backed and justified the support when resuming last start over 6f at Yeppoon, scoring by 1. 75 lengths. Open to plenty of improvement and looks sure to run well again. Can make it back-to-back wins. WOLFGANG (3) didn't do a bad job when sixth last start after being prominent at the bend over 5½f at Warwick, beaten 2. 25 lengths. That followed a win at Rockhampton the start prior. Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. OUTWITTED (5) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just three wins from 30 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 6f at Rockhampton, beaten 4 lengths. Has the talent to take this out. DARK GLEAM (2) finished 5 lengths from the winner in tenth last time out over 6f at Rockhampton on July 11. Winkers removed this time. Looks one of the each way hopes.
