RESTONICA (3) is a distance specialist who improved sharply on his sixth two starts back in the LR Eye Liner Stakes at Ipswich with a win over 6f at Doomben two weeks ago, getting home by 1. 2 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Looks well placed so expect another big run. SIR ARTIE (11) was allowed to drift back from an outside draw last time but found the line strongly to finish fifth, beaten 1. 5 lengths, over 7f at Rosehill. Expected to measure up. LISZTOMANIA (5) won when resuming then was less effective in stakes class when tenth in the LR Ramornie Handicap at Grafton. Will find this much easier. Settles back early but winds up late. One of the contenders. CASPERNOVA (12) turned in an eye-catching run last start over 6f at Doomben, dropping out early before coming home with a powerful run to finish second. Can feature in the finish.
