CAPTAIN MAVERICK (7) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fourth over 1m2f at Doomben after being in the firing line on the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. MARENARO (6) drifted back from his wide draw last time then hit the line hard to finish third at Doomben over 1m2f. Will be doing his best work late.
