BON VADER (3) wasn't far away when resuming last start, finishing second over 6f at Doomben. The extra journey should play into his hands. Ideally placed to take this out. Set Weights ING STATE (5) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found a couple better over 1m1/4f at Doomben, beaten only 0. 7 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. THE AVIATOR (6) is close to breaking through following a narrow defeat last time over 6¾f at Doomben. Proving a good combination with Daniel Moor with three straight placings. One of the main contenders. SHAQUE D'AMOUR (2) showed early speed from a good draw last start then battled on well for third, beaten 1. 5 lengths, over 6f at Gold Coast. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the key runners.
