PEARLS IN JUNE (11) was allowed to balance up well back from a wide alley last start then wound up strongly for an eye-catching third over 6f at this track. Sure to prove tough to stop. ASTERN EFFORT (1) remains a maiden after 11 runs. Had plenty of admirers last time and finishing a close second over 6¾f at Doomben. Goes well at this trip, recording five minor placings and shapes as one to consider. KADESKY (3) was prominent at the corner and finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 6f at Doomben, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Will benefit from that outing.
