DESANTO (7) was beaten just a nose last start when second in a small field over 5f at this track at the first run of the campaign on a soft ground. Drawn to enjoy a nice run just off the lead. Will give a great sight. EGYPTIAN GODDESS (8) returns after four-and-a-half months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a seventh over 6f at Doomben. Ran fifth in a recent trial at Gold Coast. Bold showing expected. ARISTOCRATIC GIRL (5) settled well back last time then wound up strongly in the straight to finish third over this journey at this track. Strong chance again. GRAM (1) resumes from a lay-off of five months and is having his first outing under new trainer Tony Gollan. Finished fifth at Mornington over 5f at the opening run last time in work. Will be forward for this after a recent trial win at Doomben.
