FLYING AURELIUS (6) returned from a lay-off three-and-a-half weeks ago when he was in the firing line on the corner before being beaten 4 lengths into fifth over 7f at this track. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. BLUE SPINEL (3) was given time to settle from an outside draw last time then wound up strongly in the straight for an eye-catching third over 6f at Gold Coast. Should run on into the finish again. SPIETHTACULAR (12) took advantage of the good draw and raced on the pace last start before tiring to finish fifth, beaten 3. 5 lengths, over 5½f at Gold Coast. One of the main contenders. HEESEN (9) has been kept fresh since finishing fourth over 6f at Doomben. Kept up to the mark with a recent Gold Coast trial win. One of the likely contenders.
