Has a strong record at this distance with a win and four minor placings from five starts and is sure to go well. GAMBINO (13) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished second at this track two starts back then got the job done by a long neck last time out over 6¾f at Doomben. Facing a tougher assignment but he is capable of running another bold race. ARALETTA (14) is struggling to break through but hasn't been far away, the latest effort a fourth, beaten half a length, over 6¾f at Doomben. Strong record with Jag Guthmann-Chester in the irons, including a win. Among the top-three hopes.
