VIVIKA (9) was less than a length from the winner in second at Doomben on debut before showing the benefit of that race experience when an impressive winner over 5f at Grafton last start when resuming. Looks ready to step up and can go on with the job. ALPHA SOFIE (5) came from well back on the bend and hit the line strongly to score over 6f at this track last time out. Should be winding up late again. WANNABE BRUTAL (7) got off the mark over 6f at Gold Coast last start, scoring by 3 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped.
