VALETUDO (12) turned in a fine effort to score by a long neck at this track and distance last start to maintain her good form of late. Tackling an easier race so she is likely to play a big role. TRY EVERYTHING (6) jumped from a wide gate last start and finished 2.5 lengths away in eighth over this track and distance. Has a much better draw this time. Deserves another chance. AFFINITY FLYER (10) returned from a break of seven months with a solid fourth last start at Toowoomba over 5f. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. One of the better hopes. VINDICTA (16) finished ninth when when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Doomben after racing on the pace for much of the way. Among the chances.
