CARPACCIO (1) finished fourth over 6½f at Gold Coast when resuming last start, beaten only 0.8 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Has a fair record when second up, including two top-three finishes. Going up a level this time but he is up to the challenge. SIMPLY EXCELS (2) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 6f at Ipswich, scoring by a nose. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Looks well placed and he should be in the finish again. THAT'S ALL GOOD (17) finished fifth over 6f at Sunshine Coast when resuming last start, beaten only 0.7 lengths. Meets a stronger field but she is fitter and worth serious consideration. RHUVAAL (4) recorded his first win last start over 7f at Sunshine Coast, getting home by one length. Re-unites with Cobi Vitler who was on board last start. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped.
