Strong performer at this stage of the prep with a win and one minor placings from three runs. Will find this easier. Leading contender. ZARASTRO (2) clocked-in second behind Golden Boom when fresh from a break last time out in the LR Bribie Hcp at this track over 5f. Has a very good record here including five wins from eight starts. Sure to be there at the business end. BOOM TORQUE (7) returns from a layoff of nine weeks. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 5¼f at Doomben. Among the better hopes. GARZA BLANCA (10) recorded a strong on-speed win last time by half a length over this journey in the LR Doveton Stakes (Cleary Stakes) at Caulfield. Goes well at this journey with four wins and three placings from nine starts and deserves respect.
