POETIC DRAMA (11) scored a narrow win last time over 1m1/4f at Doomben on November 30. Down in the weights this time so another bold showing is expected. JUNIPAL (3) has failed to figure of late. Two starts back missed the placings over 1m at Sunshine Coast. Last time he failed to complete the course at this track. No surprise to see him back in form. TANNHAUSER (1) returned from a break last start with a mediocre 11th over 7½f in the G3 Festival Stakes at Rosehill after settling well back. Finds a suitable assignment and can take this out. CAPTAIN FENKEL (8) ran well despite being friendless in betting last time over 7½f in the LR Brisbane Truck Show Tails Stakes at this track, finishing third and beaten one length at 25/1. Should enjoy a good run just off the speed. Can feature in the finish.
