PAYLINE (5) crossed from an outside draw last time to stalk the lead before drawing clear to win by a nose over 5½f at Doomben. Has a decent record at this track. Among the leading chances. SALTAIRE (3) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 15 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when sixth over 6f at Doomben, beaten 3.5 lengths. Perfectly placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. BOHEMIAN LAD (15) returns from a layoff of four months.
