PEREILLE (5) was an impressive winner last time over 6f at Sunshine Coast. Drifted back on that occasion then quickened impressively to score by 4 lengths. Top strike rate at the journey with four wins and nine placings from 13 starts and is a leading contender. WILLINGA BEAST (13) multiple Group 2 placegetter. Was a long way back last start but hit the line well to finish fifth, beaten 2.25 lengths, over 5½f in the LR Chief De Beers Quality at Doomben. Will drift back but is going to be hard to hold out. MISS HELLFIRE (8) Group 2 placegetter. Finished fifth last time out over 6f at this track, beaten 5 lengths. One of the better chances. NASHIRA (14) knuckled down strongly to get within 0.6 lengths of the winner in second last start over 5½f at Doomben. Takes on a better field this time but must be respected.
