Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to take this out. HABENARIA (7) is a maiden galloper who hasn't raced since finishing 5. 5 lengths back in fourth over 5½f at Wodonga four-and-a-half months ago. Sharpened for this with a placing in a recent trial. Expect a bold showing. DAD BOD (1) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 5½f at Mortlake when second, beaten half a length. Breaks from a wide draw but he can feature again. HOLLOW TURF (2) led early and was still in the firing line on the turn before tiring to finish seventh over 5f at Warrnambool last time out. Worth including in this suitable contest.
