WATER LAD (3) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up strongly to finish fourth over 5f at Scone. Looks suited here and rates a major contender. MISS CAPRICORN (5) settled well back last start and never threatened when 9 lengths from the winner in fourth over 5f at Orange. Finds a tougher race but this looks well within her grasp. EQUITABLE (9) was safely held when seventh last time out over 5f at Tamworth, beaten 3. 5 lengths. That followed a win at Tamworth at the previous outing. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. CANNY PROSPECT (4) was beaten 3. 5 lengths into fourth in a 5f contest at Tamworth at his latest appearance. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
