ALARTHILL (9) got the prize two runs ago at Muswellbrook. Safely held last time out when sixth over 7f at Tamworth, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. LAGOON (8) got off the mark over 1m at this track last start, scoring by a long neck. Heavelon Van Der Hoven was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Big chance to go back-to-back. NUGGET SMART (3) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 3. 5 lengths when seventh in a 7f contest at Tamworth two weeks ago. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. THE BENTLEY (5) got off the mark over 7f at Tamworth last start, scoring by 0. 7 lengths. Re-unites with Mikayla Weir who was on board last start. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped.
