ALMOST MAYBE (10) missed the placings two starts back when resuming then ran a better race and finished 0.7 lengths away in fourth last time out over 5f at Tamworth. Finds a tougher race but a win is not out of the question. BULLION HUNTER (2) made it two wins in succession last time out when he scored by 0.7 lengths over 5f at Muswellbrook. Winning rider Leeshelle Small retains the mount. Stepping up a level this time but on current form he is one of the chief contenders. FAMOSO (11) is back from a lay-off of six-and-a-half months. Closed last campaign with a minor placing over 5f at Moonee Valley. Now under the care of new trainer Rob Potter. Has found the right race and is worth including. PROPER TWELVE (12) looks to kick off this prep the way he ended the last five months ago when he scored over 6f at this track. Sure to measure up.
