DEION (3) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 0.8 lengths, over 6f at Scone. Well placed and should be tough to rein in. BEAUTY EDGE (5) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 3 lengths away in fourth last time out over 6f at this track. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. I'M SCARLETT (6) built on a nice second two starts back at Cowra with a win over 7f at Bathurst two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by 0.7 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. GRINS (1) finished 12th last start over 7½f at Rosehill after racing on the pace for much of the way. Solid top-three prospects.
