EASTERN ODYSSEY (12) raced on pace for much of the way before fading in the straight to finish tenth, beaten 6 lengths, over 5f here last time. Expected to measure up here. Worth another try. ONYSPEED (10) showed little early dash when resuming last start but found the line strongly to get up for third, beaten 1.75 lengths, over this course and distance. Expected to prove tough to hold out again. TALIHINA SKY (8) accounted for a maiden field over 4¾f at Cowra last start when fresh from a break. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Ashleigh Stanley was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped. MAN FROM BRUSSELLS (3) filled a minor placing when fresh from a lay-off two starts ago. Could not back that up last time when 3 lengths away in fifth over 5f at this track. Top-three contender.
