ROTHGATE (5) turned things around last start and got the job done by 1.75 lengths as favourite over 5f at Geurie. Clayton Gallagher gets the best out of this four-year-old gelding. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. CAN DO CANTO (19) finished 2 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 6½f at Hawkesbury, an improvement on her when resuming sixth at Nowra the run before. Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. BUSH TELEGRAPH (1) resumes after a break of six months. Won on debut to launch the last campaign over 6½f at Hawkesbury. Ran fifth in a trial at Muswellbrook over 5f recently. Will be hard to stop. PARIS LAD (2) finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 6f at Moree, beaten 0.7 lengths. Likely improver with strong prospects.
