Race Tip

KIRONA STORM (18) showed good early speed and raced on the pace when when resuming after a lay-off last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 5½f at Bathurst. Will be on the speed in transit and is expected to take some running down. PATTERA (15) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing second last time when he was prominent throughout over 4½f at Wellington. Meets some better types this time but another big run is on the cards. BABY DAISY (4) is a maiden who has filled a minor placing five times in 13 starts. Never a threat when resuming last start over 6¼f at Newcastle, finishing 6 lengths from the winner in tenth. Best form augers well for this. ANGIE'S SISTER (12) is a filly by Winning Rupert out of Skullas Sister on debut. Thereabouts in a recent trial. Worth consideration.
