TRANQUIL BAY (9) was well fancied but below her best at the last run before a break on 31/08/2024, finishing seventh over 6f at this track. Starts this prep with Jake Bayliss taking charge. Returns here with the winkers removed and looks a top chance. CERTAINLYCAN (6) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at this track but raced below expectations last time over 5½f at this track, finishing ninth and beaten 7 lengths after being prominent at the bend. Finds an easier assignment and can bounce back. ALECTRONA (5) is back from a lay-off of ten weeks. Turned in a fair effort at Gold Coast over 7f at her only run last prep, finishing fifth and beaten 1.5 lengths. Under the care of new trainer Chris & Corey Munce this prep. Definite top-three chance. DRANG A TANG (2) scored last start at Toowoomba to make it two wins from four starts this campaign. Harder here but cannot be underestimated.
