Managed to fill a minor placing at this track two starts back when resuming before finishing fifth over 6f at this track last time. Likely to be about the money. VELOZES (14) knuckled down strongly to get within 1.5 lengths of the winner in second last start over 6f at this track on debut. Will be winding up late. KALENDS (11) returns from a layoff of four-and-a-half months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 7f at Eagle Farm. One to consider.
