BELLA TIVACI (2) was sent out favourite last time when fifth over 1m1f at Eagle Farm. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. Ideally placed to take this out. KERKORIAN (4) produced a reasonable effort when second last start after being prominent at the corner over 1m2 1/2f at Kilcoy, beaten a nose. That followed a win at Sunshine Coast the start prior. The engagement of Jake Bayliss is noteworthy. Meets a stronger field but he is up to the task. GRIPPING (1) raced on the speed and kept going to score by 2.75 lengths last time out over 1m2 3/4f at Toowoomba. Goes up a rung or two but he is worth serious consideration. JOE MAMA (5) turned things around last start and landed the prize by 0.8 lengths over 1m1f at Gold Coast. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
