CONVAAYA (3) led early and was still in the firing line on the turn last start before tiring to finish seventh over 1m2 1/4f at Seymour. Well placed on this occasion and gets his chance to break the ice. PHANTOM'S CHASE (5) just missed last time when a neck away in third at Echuca over 1m. Among the main chances. CAMELOT TIME (2) was a long way back last start but hit the line well to finish fourth, beaten 2. 5 lengths, over 1m2 1/4f at Seymour. One to watch for in the closing stages. SPICY APPLE (7) turned in an eye-catching run over 1m2f at Mildura last time, ridden back before coming home with a powerful run to finish second. Should feature in the finish again.
