LARSEN BAY (7) has progressed nicely in her last couple of runs. Finished third at Manangatang two starts back then scored by 4 lengths last time out over 1m2f at Kilmore. Rhys McLeod scored on her last time and retains the mount. This looks a sterner test than last time but on current form she is good enough to take this out. BLACK PEPPERMINT (2) made significant late ground last start to get up for third over 1m3f at Sale. All set to run well. DIGARI (8) gets out over more ground. On the back of some solid form of late, the most recent effort a seventh over 1m2f at Warrnambool. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Will be in this for a long way. AUTUMNHEAT (1) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1m4f at Bendigo after missing the placings at the previous appearance. This looks a good race for him and he is one of the key runners.
