PLENTY OF GRUNT (2) ran well on debut last start to finish third over 6f at Swan Hill in a tougher race. Likely improver so he should pay to follow. SUSSEX DUCHESS (10) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish third last time out over 6f at Geelong. Will drift back but is expected to be in the finish again. KARASMATIC (1) was well fancied when resuming last start over 6½f at Seymour when second, beaten 3.5 lengths. Will find this a little easier than last time. One to consider. TWO CUBED (11) showed early speed from an outside draw last time and led for much of the way before fading to finish fourth, beaten 1.1 lengths, over 7f at Geelong. Good top-three prospects.
