RUNWAY RULER (11) missed the frame on debut then improved last time when 1.75 lengths away in second over 6¾f at this track. Should settle up near the speed. Looks ready to find winning form. NORWEGIAN SPIRIT (3) is yet to break through after six career starts. Managed to find the placings at Wangaratta two starts back before finishing sixth over 7½f at Ballarat Synthetic last time. Likely to be about the money. NEFERURE (8) was well fancied last time out but after being prominent at the bend disappointed in finishing fifth over 1m at Pakenham Synthetic, beaten 2.25 lengths. Looks to be in the right race to play a big role.
