THE REAL MAN (1) raced on the speed and found plenty to score by a nose at this track and distance last time out to continue his outstanding recent form. Likely to be there at the finish again. WILD NIGHTS (5) was doing her best work late last start to get up for third over 5½f at Hobart. All set to run well. VOLKANOVSKI (8) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Hobart, finishing third and only 2 lengths from the winner at the end of 5f after being in contention on the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. GEE GEES ME BOY (4) turned in a fair effort at Launceston over 6f at his last run five months ago, finishing sixth and beaten 3 lengths. Sure to make his presence felt.
