Facing a tougher assignment but he is capable of running a bold race. BLAMEITONTHEBOOGIE (3) boasts a strong record and hasn't raced since finishing third over 6f at Hobart on December 28. Will strip fitter for a subsequent trial win. Has a great record when fresh from a lay-off with two wins from two runs so he is a leading contender. PLATINUM REGGAE (9) went back early from her wide draw over 5f at this track last time but hit the line strongly to finish fourth. One to watch for in the closing stages. ZOETE'S ROCK (2) returns from a layoff of ten weeks. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 5¾f at this track. One to consider.
