ZALAU (4) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at his second outing when in contention on the bend, finishing 8 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 6f21yards at Launceston. Beautifully placed and is sure to be there at the finish. FIERCE SPIRIT (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he settled well back over 5f at this track, beaten 6 lengths into sixth. Steps up a level but he is worth another chance. FLYING HOME (6) turned in a moderate effort on debut last start when seventh at this track over 5f, beaten 7 lengths. Top-three chance. BUZZOFFSKI (5) is a two-year-old filly at the races for the first time. From an elite family that includes black type success, being by Hanseatic from Buzzing Along. Has only trialled once and won at Devonport Synthetic. Should enjoy a nice run from this draw and is certainly worth considering.
