STRATO KEN (2) hasn't raced since a minor placing at this track over 5f eight weeks ago. Kept ticking over with a placing in a recent trial at Devonport Synthetic. This sets up nicely and he is expected to be in the finish. DON TURBOAS (1) is a maiden galloper resuming. After a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Closed last campaign with a tenth over 7f at Hobart, beaten 9 lengths. Fitter for two trials, placing most recently. Set to run well. AWESOME ORPHAN (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f21yards at Launceston, beaten 6 lengths into fourth. Finds a tougher race but this looks well within her grasp. NUNKERI (5) was prominent at the corner and finished third last start over 6f21yards at Launceston, beaten 5. 5 lengths. Should be peaking. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
