Race Tip

OBVIOUSLY GOOD (1) switches to synthetic for the first time. Won over 6f at Launceston two starts ago but followed that with an unplaced effort, beaten 3. 5 lengths, over 5½f on turf at Hobart. Tough to beat. BAYSIDE (2) is close to breaking through, last start finishing just a nose away in second over 7f21yards at Launceston after being prominent from the outset. Awkwardly drawn and might need a little luck early. Looks well placed this line-up so expect another big run. ROUNDLE PARK (5) missed the frame in town lastest but not disgraced when fourth at Launceston and does tend to run well here. Will find this easier. Well placed and is one of the contenders. STARDARMUS (4) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing eighth at Hobart over 7f. Will enjoy a drop in class so he will be hard to beat.
