MR FREEZE (15) pushed forward from a wide draw last time out and was prominent for a long way before fading to finish ninth over 5½f at Hobart. Sure to be prominent from the outset. GEEGEES MISTY (7) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then got a long way back last start when 5.5 lengths away in tenth over 6¾f at this track. Nicely placed to take this out. GEEGEES CITY BOY (2) scored at this track last time out with half a length in reserve at the end of 5¾f. Has a good record at this course and distance, including a win and three placings. Among the chances. ELMAJAY (12) returned from a lay-off last start with a strong win by a head over 5f at this track. Fitter for that last hitout and appeals as a solid top-three hope.
