SANDUAL (5) switches to synthetic for the first time. Scored last start with 2.25 lengths to spare on turf over 7¼f at Hobart. Strong each-way chance. CHICANE (7) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 6¾f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. BAO BUN (3) won at this track two starts ago but was below her best at a more recent appearance, finishing tenth over 6¾f at this track. Suitably placed so expecting a better run this time.
