CRABS N BEER (4) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 7½f at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is worth serious consideration. MAGICAL MONDAYS (6) dug deep to score in a then was beaten 1.75 lengths into third over 7½f at this track (Turf) last time five-and-a-half weeks ago. Terrific chance to return to the winners' list. DOMINGUEZ (8) has strung together a couple of wins at this circuit, the latest on August 27 over 1m when he scored by 1.5 lengths. Winning rider Jamie Rodriguez retains the mount. Meeting a tougher field but on current form he is one of the chief contenders. SAM STORMY (2) travelled just behind the leader before taking over and scoring a determined win by 0.3 lengths over 7½f here last time. Yet to win this track and distance but has recorded three minor placings from four attempts. Among the better hopes.
