BEN'S HERO (1) is back at the races for the first time since October 26. Worth noting it filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 6f at this track. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. CROOKED DREAMS (6) ran well on debut last start to finish third over 7f at Laurel (Dirt) in a tougher race. Has plenty of upside so he should be in the finish again. CARENTAN (2) ended up 23 lengths behind the winner in sixth on debut last start over 6f at Gulfstream Park (Dirt). Will take a lot from that experience. Top-three chance. DARVESH (8) could only manage to finish ninth, beaten 12 lengths, at his latest appearance over 1m1/2f at Oaklawn Park (Dirt) after he gave away a big start. Appeals as a top-four contender.
