GENUINE GRACE (1) was in contention on the bend and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 6½f at Los Alamitos after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Finds a tougher race but she has the talent to test this line-up. FACTOR P (2) finished third, beaten 5 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6½f at Los Alamitos (Dirt) after she was in the firing line on the bend. It doesn't get any easier but she is one of the chief contenders. NATIVE EMPRESS (6) met with solid support last start over 6f at Emerald Downs (Dirt) when second, beaten 4. 5 lengths. Can bounce back. MUSTANG KNICKY (5) is a three-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 7 lengths when ninth over 5f at Del Mar Turf (Turf). Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come.
