CANO FOR THE WIN (7) missed the frame last time out when eighth over 1m1f at Santa Anita (Turf). Still a maiden but has been in the money on three occasions. Has a good record at this distance with two top-three results from three starts. Backmarker who keeps coming. Will prove hard to hold out. TOPPERS AT SEASIDE (1) finished second, beaten 1.5 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 1m at Santa Anita (Dirt) after he was prominent at the bend. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. TAPIT DYNASTY (3) finished fourth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m1f at Santa Anita, beaten 1.3 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Looks well placed so expect another big run. TRAVAIL (5) was beaten 10 lengths into fifth over 1m at Los Alamitos last time out. Finds a nice race and can atone.
