After filling a minor placing at his last appearance at alice springs over 7f on april 5. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. HE'S ESSENTIAL (4) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6½f at this track, beaten 1.4 lengths. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time. SUPER FAMOUS (9) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 3.5 lengths away in sixth over 5½f at this track. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
